Christine Potters-Tilkin
Christine Potters-Tilkin, 59, of Bloomfield died Jan. 2, 2012. She grew up in Clifton.
Mrs. Potters-Tilkin worked as a critical care nurse at the Yale New Haven Medical Center before returning to New Jersey. She remained active in the health care field, holding management positions with Caremark and other related companies until becoming an executive pharmaceutical sales representative for Glaxo Smith Klein, from which she retired three years ago.
She earned her BSN from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
She was associated with Tomorrow’s Children at Hackensack University Medical Center and had been a spokeswoman for CancerCare. She was a member of Temple Ner Tamid in Bloomfield.
She is survived by her husband, Peter Tilkin; her mother, Ruth Potters; two brothers, Michael Potters and Charles Potters; and six nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 4 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to CancerCare.
