The Arcadian Chorale

The Arcadian Chorale will present “L’Chaim, to Life!” — a celebration of Jewish music featuring Jewish folk songs and familiar Broadway hits — at three area synagogues this spring: on Sunday, April 10, at 4 p.m. at Congregation B’nai Israel in Rumson; on Saturday, April 16, at 8 p.m. at Temple Shalom in Matawan; and on Saturday, May 14, at 8 p.m. at Temple Shaari Emeth in Manalapan.

Congregation choirs and cantors will participate along with the 65 members of the chorale.

The chorale, based in Matawan, is in its 23rd year. It has performed many times at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City, and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, as well as in Asbury Park, Holmdel, Red Bank, and Freehold.
