Chilling in East Windsor

Head girls’ “chiller” Sarah Mintz, fourth from right, with East Windsor Chillers and the nearly life-sized stuffed bear won by one of the girls.
ChillZone, a weekly boys’ and girls’ youth educational program run by Oorah (oorah.org), a national Jewish organization that conducts religious outreach to Jewish families, began in November.
Each week’s ChillZone program features a short Torah study session with volunteer teen mentors, along with food, interactive activities, and prizes.
East Windsor’s ChillZone, with a girls’ program headed by Sara Mintz and a boys’ program led by Aaron Sperka, is held on Saturday nights at 7:45 in Shalom Heritage Center, 659 Abbington Drive, Store #106. For information, visit chillzone.org.
