Dr. Kara Beth Chenitz, daughter of Deanne and Dr. William R. Chenitz of Livingston, formerly of Short Hills, was married Sept. 10, 2011, to Dr. Todd Michael Jozsa, son of Michael and Dianne Jozsa of Short Hills.

Cantor Dr. Howard Stahl of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun performed the ceremony at Highlawn Pavilion, West Orange.

The new Mrs. Jozsa, who will use her maiden name professionally, is a graduate of Newark Academy and received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. She earned her medical degree from New Jersey Medical School, University of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She is a second-year fellow in nephrology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is also pursuing a master’s degree in health policy research.

Dr. Jozsa, a graduate of Millburn High School, also received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School, University of Medicine and Dentistry. He is a third-year resident in internal medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

The couple resides in Philadelphia.
