Charles Levine
Charles A. Levine, 87, of Jackson died Jan. 14, 2014. Born in Newark, he later moved to Maplewood, where he lived for over 30 years, then to Toms River for 20 years and to Jackson in 2013.
Mr. Levine worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier for over 20 years in Livingston.
He attended Weequahic High School in Newark.
He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of B’nai B’rith Lodge in Irvington.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Kurtzman); his son, Mark (Teri) of North Wales, Pa.; and his daughter, Sandi of San Francisco.
Services were held Jan. 16 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
