Celia Schulberg
Celia Schulberg (Silver), 99, of Waldwick died Jan. 13, 2014. She was born in New York City and lived in Queens and Coconut Creek, Fla., before moving to Waldwick in 1984.
Mrs. Schulberg worked for the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
She graduated from New York University.
She was a member of the Rego Park Jewish Center, where served as sisterhood president, and Temple Emanuel of Paterson. She also was a volunteer at Barnert Hospital in Paterson and was a life member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband, Jacob, in 1975, she is survived by two daughters, Rosalie (Lawrence) of Wyckoff and Helen (Steven) of Randolph; her son, Howard (Anne Jean) of Livingston; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 15 with arrangements by Schoem’s Menorah Chapel, Paramus.
