Cecile Ackerman
Cecile Ackerman, 98, of Montville died May 21, 2019. Born in Manhattan, she also had resided in Oceanside, N.Y.
Mrs. Ackerman worked as an executive assistant at PepsiCo.
She was an accomplished bridge player and an avid reader.
Predeceased by her husband, Sam, she is survived by her son, Bruce; her daughter, Ellen Fischer; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 23 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
