In the Dec. 30 article, ”Results erode NJ’s political clout,” a “West Orange Republican” insults us by saying, “The parts of the country where there has been an increase in seats are pro-Israel areas.” So what is New Jersey?
Or perhaps this fellow is just using “pro-Israel” as code for “pro-settlements,” as many on the right wing do. The same person names LBJ and George W. Bush as “the two greatest presidents for Israel.” Pardon me? Which of these was the only American president to broker a successful peace treaty between Israel and a powerful Arab state?
