Beulah “Mickie” Rouse (Gold) of Morris Plains died July 6, 2011. Born in Irvington, she was raised in Hillside and raised her family in Aberdeen before moving to Morris Plains.
Mrs. Rouse was a founding member of Temple Sholom in Aberdeen and during the 1960s was an active member of the League of Women Voters.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; her daughter, Elise Oliver of Randolph; two sons, William Pearl of Atlanta and Andrew Pearl of Short Hills; two stepsons, Douglas Rouse of West Caldwell and Daniel Rouse of Wisconsin; a sister, Rita Gold of Stafford Township; and 12 grandchildren.
Services were held July 8 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
