Betty Grindlinger
Betty Grindlinger (Mann), 85, of Springfield died May 8, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, she resided in Bayonne and Millburn before moving to Springfield in 1971.
Mrs. Grindlinger received a bachelor of arts degree from New York University.
She was very active in the Parkinson’s support group at Mountainside Hospital. She was a longtime member of the Millburn/Short Hills First Aid Squad and a member of Congregation B’nai Israel in Millburn.
Predeceased by her husband, Paul, in 2001, she is survived by her son, Robert of Altadena, Calif.; her daughter, Gail Hughes of Clifton; and a brother, Norman Mann of San Diego.
Services were held May 12 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
