Bertha Brody
Bertha Grossman Brody, 96, of Crofton, Md., died Jan. 30, 2014. Born in Irvington, she moved to South Orange after her marriage before residing in Crofton with her daughter for the past nine years.
Mrs. Brody was a bookkeeper for many years in New Jersey.
She played tennis into her 90s and took two-mile walks in her Crofton neighborhood.
Predeceased by her husband, Philip, she is survived by her daughter, Judy (Tom) Tucker; her son, Steven (Sylvia) of Houston; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
