Bernice Cohen
Bernice Cohen (Rubenson), 65, of Brick died Oct. 31, 2012. Born in Newark, she had resided in Short Hills, Lake Hiawatha, East Hanover, and in Livingston for 25 years before recently moving to Brick.
Mrs. Cohen was a special education teacher at the Deron School in Montclair.
She was a graduate of Kean College.
She is survived by her husband, Steven; her son, Scott of East Hanover; her daughter, Amy Cohen of Parsippany; a brother, Martin Rubenson of Maple Shade; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 2 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
