Bernard Oxfeld

Bernard “Bernie” Oxfeld, 84, of Livingston died Nov. 2, 2013. He was born in Newark and was a longtime resident of Florham Park.

Mr. Oxfeld worked as executive vice president of Dictograph Security Systems in Florham Park for over 46 years.

He graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, and University of Miami.

He served as a corporal during the Korean War.

Predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Helene, he is survived by his son, Gregg (Leslie); three daughters, Robin Oxfeld (partner Arlene), Staci (David) Fabisch, and Allison (Jonathan) Caplan; a sister, Ruth Perl Fox; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 4 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
