Nina and David Benjamin of Springfield celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2013, at the home of their children, Shelley and David Kaplan, also of Springfield. The couple was married June 5, 1943, at Paramount Caterers in New York City.

Joining in the celebration were their other children, Ettie and Barry Shuken of Toronto and Jacqueline and Fred Lieberberg of Short Hills, along with their grandchildren.
