Benjamin Bookbinder

Benjamin Bookbinder died Jan. 29, 2013. Born in New York, he moved to the Jersey Shore 40 years ago. 

Mr. Bookbinder served with the U.S. Signal Corp. Laboratory at Fort Monmouth for 38 years. A longtime member of the ERAD Electronic Warfare Laboratory, he received the Commanders Award.

He earned his electrical degree from New York University.

He is survived by his wife, Judith of Deal; his daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Arthur Rosenberg, and his grandchildren.

Services were held Jan. 31 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
