Benjamin Biskowitz

Benjamin Biskowitz, 79, of Parsippany died Nov. 30, 2010. Born in Warsaw, Poland, he survived World War II and briefly lived in Paris before immigrating to the United States in 1950, settling in Brooklyn. He moved to Parsippany in 1967.

Mr. Biskowitz was senior vice president at Xetron Corp. of Cedar Knolls.

He was an active member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.

He attended the ORT School in Paris and RCA Technical Schools in Brooklyn.

He was a member of Pine Brook Jewish Center, Montville.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis (Holtz); three sons, Mark, Jeff, and David; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 2 with arrangements by Gutterman Bros., Lake Hiawatha. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
