I would like to commend NJ Jewish News for the numerous recent articles highlighting accomplishments by, and on behalf of, people with special needs. This reflects the significant steps that have been taken by organizations and individuals within the MetroWest Jewish community over the past years and is something that our community should be very proud of.
At the Friendship Circle we salute our community partners at the Federation of Greater MetroWest, MetroWest ABLE, and other Jewish agencies and local synagogues for all that they have accomplished. Let us use this momentum to redouble our efforts until people with special needs face no barriers in any aspect of Jewish life.
At a time when most newspapers fill their pages with tabloid stories, the Jewish News’ recognition of these historic changes highlights the important role that all people have in our community.
Thank you for being a beacon of light.
Rabbi Zalman Grossbaum
Executive Director, Friendship Circle
