Rachel Baum, daughter of Joanie and Bob Baum of Rockaway, is engaged to Kate Bennert, daughter of Ginny and Art Bennert of San Antonio, Texas.
Ms. Baum graduated from Morris Hills High School, and received her B.S. from SUNY New Paltz. She is an elementary school teacher at North Star Academy Charter School in Newark.
Ms. Bennert received her B.A. from Hamilton College, New York. She is a food stylist at the Rachael Ray Show.
A spring 2019 wedding is planned.
