Barney Meyer Jacobs, 89, of Princeton died June 2, 2017. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., he resided in Paterson and Fair Lawn before his recent move to Princeton.
Mr. Jacobs was the owner/operator of Jay-Gee TV, an electronics repair establishment in Paterson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served during World War II.
He was active in Temple Emanuel in Paterson, where he was a past men’s club president.
Predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Glenna (Scolnick), he is survived by two daughters, Judith (Richard) Falkin of Springfield and Karen (Howard) Brooks of Southampton, Pa.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 5 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
