Audrey Golomb Lasday, 83, of Maplewood died Dec. 19, 2011. She was formerly of West Orange and Washington, Pa.
An active woman with positions in local and national Hadassah, Mrs. Lasday was received by former first lady Nancy Reagan. She taught Sunday school at her former synagogue in Pennsylvania and at Temple Ner Tamid, Bloomfield. She also was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the Committee on Racial Equality.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; two daughters, Deborah Lasday and Judith Curl; her son, David; a sister, Bernice Davis; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 22 at Ner Tamid with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Maplewood.
