ATTNER-ZUSSMAN

Janet and David Attner of Ocean Township and Debra and Melvin Zussman of Wilmington, Del., announce the engagement of their children, Rachel Lori and David Joseph, both of Bethesda, Md. The bride is also the granddaughter of Doris Axelrod of Monroe Township. The groom is the grandson of Irene Zussman of Sharon, Mass., and Ruth Rutstein Posner of San Antonio, Texas.

Ms. Attner earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in education, both from University of Maryland. She is a high school math teacher in Bethesda.

Mr. Zussman graduated from University of Maryland with a dual degree in marketing and finance. He is marketing coordinator for a Bethesda law firm.

The couple met in 2007 while singing in a Jewish a cappella group, Kol Sasson, at the University of Maryland.

An August 2012 wedding is planned.
