Arthur Davis
Arthur I. Davis, 90, of Morristown and Jupiter, Fla., died Aug. 7, 2012.
Mr. Davis was president of JTC Corporation.
He graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II on active duty in New Guinea and the Philippines.
He was a member of the Board of Newark’s Beth Israel Hospital.
He was a horticulturist, collector of photographs and crafts, jazz enthusiast, and an athlete.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara; his daughter, EJ; his son, Robert; three grandchildren; two stepchildren, Margo Brundage and Douglas Henston; five step-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Chanin; and two caregivers, Valerie Beckford and Eunice Jones.
Services were held Aug. 12 at Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Short Hills, with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
