Arthur Amster
Arthur (known as “Art” or “Bussie”) H. Amster, 85, of Livingston died Aug. 7, 2019. Born in Newark, he lived in Rockaway before moving to Livingston five years ago.
Mr. Amster served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier, the USS Intrepid.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Carol (Kresch); two daughters, Tracey (Charles) Kaliman and Nancy Amster-Coull; his son, Thomas (Sheryl); a sister, Susan Amster; a brother, Michael Amster; and five grandchildren.
Private services were held with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Special Olympics.
