An opening reception for “Nature’s Embrace,” an exhibition of the artwork of Leah K. Tomaino of Randolph, will be held at the Linda Grandis Blatt Gallery at Temple B’nai Or, Morristown, on Sunday, Nov. 20, 3-5 p.m. The one-woman show runs Nov. 14-Jan. 6. 

Tomaino’s works, which feature collage applications of acrylic paint and paper on canvas, have been featured in numerous exhibitions and are held in public and private collections. She has received national recognition and numerous awards, including the Medal of Honor and the Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation Award for Works on Paper by the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. Her work was featured in 2014 exhibitions at the Morris Museum and at the George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University. 

An adjunct professor of visual arts at the County College of Morris and at Centenary University, Tomaino also teaches at Artworks Studio, Randolph.

A portion of the purchase price of all her works sold benefits B’nai Or.
