Arnold Koldorf, 91, of Springfield died April 2, 2016.
Mr. Koldorf was an accountant who worked at Terry Fabrics and Standard X-Ray, both in Irvington.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Through his donation, the nonprofit Life With Joy Inc. was founded in February 2015, a residence that serves as a living and learning center for adults with autism.
Predeceased by his wife, Irene, and his son, Larry, he is survived by two daughters, Susan (Gary) Kolb of Andover and Karen (Arnold) Paperno of Mt. Kisco, NY; a sister, Ruth Spolansky of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren. He was also the guardian of Ian Pill.
Services were held April 6 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Life With Joy Inc.
