Arline Gottlieb
Arline Gottlieb, 87, of Edison died Aug. 1, 2018. She was a Newark native and later lived in Colonia.
After her children were settled in grade school, Mrs. Gottlieb embarked on a series of positions in journalism and corporate communications. She finished her career in 1993 as editor of internal publications for Crum and Forster insurance company of Madison.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1951 from Rutgers University in Newark with a degree in sociology.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arnold J.; three children, Elise Israel of Suffern, N.Y., Paul Gottlieb of Hillsborough, and Jan Gottlieb of South Brunswick; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 3 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
