Arlene Rubinstein

Arlene Rubinstein, 60, of Millburn died April 6, 2014. Born in Newark, she lived in East Orange, West Orange, and Linden before moving to Millburn 24 years ago. 

Ms. Rubinstein (formerly Lieberman) was a vocational rehabilitation counselor for Opportunity Project in Millburn for the past 14 years. 

She received a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in sociology and her master’s degree from Seton Hall University in vocational rehabilitation. 

She was a volunteer for Jersey Animal Coalition of Maplewood/South Orange. 

She is survived by two sons, Alexander and Matthew Lieberman, both of Millburn; a brother, Boruch Rubinstein of Brooklyn; and a sister, Nancy Berkenfeld of Edison. 

Services were held April 8 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Opportunity Project Inc., 60 East Willow St., Millburn, NJ 07041.
