Apology not accepted
I just finished reading your editorial on Henry Kissinger (“Kissinger’s apology,” Dec. 30). We have all told our “bosses” what they wanted to hear. That’s not a new story. But there is no case I could imagine where I would have justified the Holocaust, slavery, or any other injustice to humanity. Simply stated, there are no acceptable apologies for what Kissinger said, not 37 years after the statement was made or 37 years down the road.
