Ann Kesselman

Ann Kesselman (Leiderman) of East Brunswick died June 3, 2013. Born in Newark, she grew up in Linden.

Mrs. Kesselman was a part-time Hebrew School teacher at East Brunswick Jewish Center.

She was raised in Linden, where her father was a founder of Congregation Anshe Chesed. She subsequently was a member of Adath Israel in Woodbridge, Beth Ohr in Clark, and Temple Beth Ahm in Aberdeen.

She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and an active volunteer at the East Brunswick Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. She was a member of Makhelat Hamercaz-the Jewish Choir of Central NJ, which dedicated their June 23 concert in her memory.

Predeceased by her husband, Frederick, and her daughter Cheryl Kesselman, she is survived by her son, Bruce; two daughters, Donna and Ellen Kesselman; and two grandchildren.

Services were held June 5 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stephanie Schuster Fund at Temple Beth Ahm, 550 Lloyd Road, Aberdeen, NJ 07747 or Congregation Anshe Chesed, 1000 Orchard Terrace, Linden, NJ 07036.
