Ann Hodes

Ann Hodes, 98, of Manchester, NH, died Oct. 29, 2010. She was born in and raised in Newark and lived for many years in New Jersey. She also resided in Deerfield Beach, Fla., for 35 years prior to moving to Manchester two-and-a-half years ago.

Mrs. Hodes owned Breger Brothers Inc., a wholesale supplier of dry cleaning supplies. She was also a real estate developer and was active in many small businesses.

She was a lifetime member of B’nai B’rith and Hadassah.

She is survived by two sons, Jay of Bedford, NH, and Harold of Long Branch; her daughter, Rosalie Fields of New York City; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 31 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Bedford, NH.
