Ann Freedman
Ann Weinstein Freedman (Shipkin) of Belmar died Sept. 15, 2013. Born in Waynesboro, Ga., she was raised in Red Bank and lived in Belmar for 63 years.
Mrs. Freedman had worked as a legal secretary.
Predeceased by her husbands, Albert Weinstein in 1968 and Samuel Freedman in 2002, she is survived by her daughter, Paula Weinstein (Jim) Costello of Middletown; her son, Richard (Lorraine) Weinstein of Brick; two stepdaughters, Paula Robert Cohen of Farmingdale and Lea (Melvyn) Ruskin of Woodbury, NY; her stepson, Phillip (Anne) Freedman of Tinton Falls; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 17 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
