Anita Lazarus
Anita Lazarus (Beck), 92, of Fanwood died Oct. 5, 2011. Born in Montreal, she lived in Hillside for many years before moving to Fanwood in 2002.
Mrs. Lazarus worked as a bookkeeper at numerous local companies before retiring in 1990.
She was a volunteer at Trinitas Hospital, a member of Hadassah of Elizabeth, and a participant in the JCC of Central New Jersey’s senior programs. She supported many charitable causes.
She is survived by her daughter, Della of Philadelphia; her son, David of Fanwood; a half sister, Ellen Beck of San Diego; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 7 with arrangements by Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks Funeral Home, Philadelphia. Memorial contributions may be made to New Jersey SPCA, New Brunswick.
