A son, Benzion Zev Grunfeld (Benzion Zev), to ALYSSA MASOR GRUNFELD and DAVID GRUNFELD of Brooklyn on Feb. 19, 2011. The maternal grandparents are Meryl and Dr. Harvey Masor of South Orange. The paternal grandparents are Bella and Chaim Grunfeld of Brooklyn. The maternal great-grandmother is Jean Gottlieb Smith of Staten Island. Benzion Zev is named in memory of his maternal great-grandfather Dr. William Zev Smith.

The couple also has another son.
