Allen Cohen

Allen Cohen, 103, of West Caldwell died July 27, 2014. Born in Bayonne, he was formerly of Fort Lee and West Orange. He also had maintained a winter residence in Miami.

Mr. Cohen was the president of Victory Baking Company in Jersey City. 

He was a former member of B’nai Shalom in West Orange.

In Miami he played tennis throughout his 80s as well as the violin. 

He is survived by his wife, Pearl (Essenfeld/Goldberg); his son, Stewart (Lisa) Goldberg; his daughter, Ellen Goldberg (Jerry) Sciarrillo; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held July 30 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.
