Albert Pollack
Albert R. Pollack, 92, a 61-year resident of Levittown, Pa., died Nov. 11, 2017. He was born in the Bronx.
In Levittown, Mr. Pollack ran several businesses related to transportation and fiberglass under the name of Pollack Products and Pollack Marketing Group. He developed products ranging from fiberglass sailboats to a mud flap press, and was working on a chair designed for people suffering from back pain at the time of his death.
He graduated from Bronx High School of Science and received his bachelor of science in chemical engineering from Syracuse University.
A World War II veteran, he served in the 76th Division of Patton’s Third Army. He fought in the Battle of The Bulge, earning a Bronze Star Medal.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Carol; two daughters, Beth Ann and Linda; his son, Bennett (Erica); and two grandchildren.
Services and a burial with military honors were held Nov. 19 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
