Alan D. Kampf, 83, of Livingston died March 20, 2014. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Kampf was president and founder of Somerset Window and Door Distributors in Branchburg.
He graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and the Army Active Reserves.
He graduated from Upsala College with a BBA degree in labor relations.
He was a founding member of Temple Sha’arey Shalom, Springfield, and a board of trustees member of the Valerie Fund.
Predeceased by his wife Janet Golum, he is survived by his wife, Corinne; two sons, Jeff Kampf and David Singer; two daughters, Ellen Warner and Judi Singer-Barber; and nine grandchildren.
