Adele Schenkman
Adele Schenkman (Bloom), 91, of Somerset died Aug. 29, 2013. Born in Newark, she had resided in Orange, Bloomfield, Union, and Millburn before her recent move to Somerset.
Mrs. Schenkman was a life member of Hadassah and served as the recording secretary for Jewish Women International’s Maplewood and the Oranges chapter. She was also an active member at Crestmont Country Club, West Orange.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, she is survived by two sons, Robert of Millburn and Richard of New York City.
Services were held Sept. 3 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
