Adele Lea Jacobs
Adele Lea Jacobs, 97, of Monroe Township died May 17, 2011. Born in Poland and raised in Germany, she also had lived in New Zealand and Scranton, Pa.
Mrs. Jacobs was a member of the Machzikeh Hadas Congregation, Scranton; the Jewish Congregation of Concordia in New Jersey; and Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband, Johner, in 1994, she is survived by her daughters, Claire Jacobs Elson of East Brunswick and Rose Baskind of Glen Rock, and four grandchildren.
Services were held May 18. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah, the Jewish National Fund, or Yad Vashem.
