Adele Kimowitz
Adele Kimowitz, 93, of Marlboro died Sept. 12, 2012. She was born in Newark, and, as an orphan, was raised in Newark’s Hebrew Sheltering Home. She resided most of her life in Union before moving to Toms River in her later years and then Marlboro.
Mrs. Kimowitz was a bank administrator for 25 years; her last position was with PNC Bank in Menlo Park. She graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark.
She was a member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Abe, in 2004, she is survived by her son, Hal H. of Montville; her daughter, Kim Scally of Brielle; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 13 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pre-School of Adath Shalom Synagogue, 841 Mountain Way, Morris Plains, NJ 07950.
