Aaron Z. Greenstein, 58, of East Brunswick died July 16, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, he resided there before moving to East Brunswick in 1985.
Prior to his retirement in January, Mr. Greenstein was a police sergeant for the Port Authority of NY/NJ, where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of the Port Authority Shomrim Society.
He was awarded the Port Authority World Trade Center Memorial Citation for his commendable service in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Predeceased by his sister, Judith Grabel, in 1992, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Gray Greenstein; two sons, Larry and Jared; and a brother, Michael of Plainsboro.
Services were held July 19 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
