Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission will present Music in the Park, a series of free summer concerts on Thursdays at 6 p.m. at The Open Grove Gazebo on the Lake at Thompson Park, Monroe Township. The themes are July 11, Mariachi with Sounds of Mexico; July 18, Strictly 60’s Band with Beatles, Rolling Stones, Doors, Motown, and More; and July 25, Tanglewood with Classic Rock & Pop Music on Acoustic Guitars. Parkside Shabbat
Beth El Synagogue in East Windsor will host Shabbat in the Park at Thompson Park in Monroe Township on Friday, Aug. 2, at 5:30 p.m. A service will begin at 6 between Grove 1 and 4 by the Gazebo on the Lake, Perrineville Road and Schoolhouse Road.
