Iris Elaine Scull (Fogelson), 91, of Meadowbrook, Pa., died Sept. 21, 2017. Born in Newton, she lived in the Trenton suburbs after her marriage before moving to Coconut Creek, Fla., for 23 years and then the Philadelphia area.
Mrs. Scull worked as a substitute teacher and later retired as a disabilities’ examiner for the NJ Department of Labor.
She attended Rider College in Trenton.
In the Trenton area, she was an active member and former sisterhood president at Congregation Brothers of Israel. In Florida, she was an active volunteer and chair of many organizations. She was a volunteer with City of Hope.
Predeceased by her husband, Leon G., in 1989, and a son-in-law, Gary Dormer, she is survived by three daughters, Shelley Dormer, Jacalyn Crass, and Robin (David) Rydzewski; her son, Mitch (Kathy); eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 24 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to City of Hope.
