Anne Jelin

Anne Louise Jelin, 64, of South Orange died Aug. 20, 2014. She also had lived in Portland, Maine. 

Ms. Jelin worked for many years as a nursery school assistant at the JCC MetroWest. Later, she became a business assistant and special adviser to the CEO of NRG Barriers in Portland before returning to New Jersey and playing a similar role at the Karnak Chemical Corp. 

She received a degree in pre-school education from New York University. 

Predeceased by her parents, Sima and Marty Jelin, and a brother, Billy Jelin, she is survived by two brothers, Bram Jelin and Frederick T. Jelin; two sisters, Sarah Jane Jelin and Deborah Jelin Newmyer; 15 nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and -nephews. 

Services were held Aug. 22 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Jespy House, South Orange.
